Before founding her own strategic foresight consultancy, Athena started her career as an economist and dedicated more than a decade at Accenture, advising large businesses on emerging trends. Her experience spans multiple sectors including consulting, consumer goods, development, insurance, mining and shipping.
Athena co-founded the company’s Business Futures approach used at innovation hubs.
The methodology not only inspired executive teams into action but also led to strategy engagements of at least $30m and helped a semiconductor company triple its revenue and profitability, a major North America insurance company create new innovation concepts, and an energy company discover new revenue streams.

She is a regular presenter at events such as annual corporate meetings and conferences, an expert panelist, conference chair and podcast guest. She is a trusted advisor and skilled communicator who simplifies complexity and fosters relationships with C-level and senior executives.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA), a member of the RADAR Foresight community, and a GLG Insights subject matter expert. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of York.
